The Lamborghini Diablo SE 30, ( the latter designation meaning "Special Edition" in commemoration of Lamborghini's 30th anniversary ) was never meant to be an 'ordinary' Lamborghini. Built at the Sant' Agata factory partly as an emphatic restatement of the Diablo's potential, it has also been bred to satisfy one or two of its more eccentric customers demands for a faster, lighter car in which they can go club racing on weekends.
The engineers at Lamborghini wanted to create a "lightweight" version of the normal Diablo and they accomplished this task by eliminating power windows, stereo, normal seats, sound reducing items, lightening the crankshaft and other measures that resulted in a drop of approximately 330 pounds. And with an increase in the horsepower to 525 bhp, the power to weight ratio enables the SE 30 to reach 0-60 in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 207 mph.
